Information on new coronavirus PCR test (LAMP method)

If you have symptoms such as fever, cough, sputum, sore throat, diarrhea, malaise, taste, or olfactory dysfunction , we may have a medical examination in the morning, so please contact us by phone. ..

At our hospital, we carry out PCR tests (LAMP method) for new coronavirus infections.

In addition, those with symptoms may be covered by insurance at the discretion of the doctor. In some cases, an antigen test is performed.

If you are contacted by an asymptomatic person, an infected person, or a person suspected of being infected, the medical treatment will be out of insurance as follows.

Test method : LAMP method (nucleic acid amplification method)

Kit used: Loopamp 2019 (SARS-CoV-2) detection reagent kit

Judgment: Positive / Negative

Examination: Saliva or nasal swab

Expenses: 3,000 yen (including non-insurance medical treatment and tax)

If you need a test result certificate,

A separate 1,100 yen (tax included) is required.

Inspection correspondence day: Tuesday-Friday (excluding holidays) 2:00 pm

* Notes (Please be sure to read.)

〇 During the incubation period (1 to 14 days) after infection, the test result is often negative, so it is recommended to wait 4 days before the test.

Even if it is negative on the day, it may become positive at a later date, so please understand in advance.

〇 Please note that the test may be false negative (no reaction even though it is infected) or false positive (no reaction even though it is not infected).

〇Please do not change the environment in your mouth such as eating, drinking water, gargling, and brushing your teeth from 1 hour before the inspection.

〇 If the result is positive, we will contact the public health center. Subsequent measures will be instructed by the health center.

○ Please be sure to bring your health insurance card as it may be covered by insurance.
